What do you do at IOOF?
My position at IOOF is within the Premier Services team. We do our best to make life easier for our advisers and help with any problems or queries.
Why did you join IOOF?
I joined IOOF to learn more about the financial services industry. I hope the things I’m learning help me manage my own money better too!
What was your first job?
My first job was as a waitress at a Turkish restaurant. It was a weekend job while I was studying.
What is the funniest/strangest thing that has happened (to you) at work?
The strangest thing that’s happened (and still happens) to me at work is when I’m called ‘Ibraham’ or ‘Hebrew’ by people who don’t know how to say my name. It happens quite a lot…

Growing up I wanted to be Madonna’s back up dancer.

What is your favourite sports team?
Carlton Football Club and Manchester United (only due to the men being so good looking in both teams).

What keeps me going at work is being cheeky to my colleagues and my manager.
