e-Forms – just so much easier

At the end of February we launched our new Pursuit PDSs and new investment menus.

At the same we also updated our e-Forms – making applications much, much easier.

What is an e-Form?

e-Forms are writable PDFs which allow you to type your clients’ information directly into the form. Once complete, you can print off the form, ask your client to sign and date, and forward to us for processing.

How does this help me?

e-Forms are far better than handwritten forms. Here are some of the key reasons why you should start using them:

  • More accurate – most people consider their own handwriting to be legible. Unfortunately many of us are wrong. Typed e-Forms minimise the chance of errors, misunderstandings and delays. They are more precise and more reliable. That reason alone should be enough to make you switch to e-Forms.
  • Quicker – e-Forms definitely save time. Where a client’s personal details are entered, the forms automatically replicate the data across the form as required. For example, when you type in a client’s name and address it is automatically populated across all relevant sections.
  • Professional – the typed-in e-Form looks far more professional than one covered in scrawled pen ink, scribbles, arrows and corrections. Presentation is very important and these new forms are just another small touch that helps to keep your clients impressed.
  • Error resistant – we all make mistakes sometimes, we’re human after all. At least with e-Forms some of these can be avoided. E-Forms include validation rules that ensure entries into the forms are appropriate to the field. These could include ensuring that values are within the allowable product parameters, or that letters are not entered when numbers are required.

So with e-Forms there’s no more laborious handwritten effort required.

No more tearing forms out from a PDS or offer document.

It’s faster, easier and more efficient. Basically, you’d be crazy not to use them, so switch to using e-Forms today.

Where are the e-Forms?

IOOF e-Forms are now available via Portfolio Online.

You can go to the Documents and forms page on Portfolio Online for the relevant product, or you can also access these forms via the banner displayed on the adviser home page when logging into Portfolio Online.

For which products will e-Forms be available?

The e-Forms available are:

  • Pursuit Select Personal Superannuation Application
  • Pursuit Select Investment Instruction form
  • Pursuit Core Personal Superannuation Application
  • Pursuit Core Investment Instruction form
  • IOOF Portfolio Service Investment Authority form
